SATURDAYS at the ARTS DEPOT in North Finchley, N12.
Adult participants can drop in any week and join in, £9 on the door or dance passes available for cheeper attendance.
Children can try a class to see if they enjoy their first session (£7) for one class.
Autumn Term 2017: September 16th to December 9th (no classes on Sat 28th Oct - 1 week half term break)
- 12.30pm - Dancehall - Adult Class
- 1.30pm - Urban Lyrical - Adult Class
- 2.30pm - Urban Lyrical - 8 to 13 yrs
- 3.30pm - Street Dance - 8 to 13 yrs
DANCEHALL - Beginner to General Level
SATURDAYS 12.30pm to 1.30pm - Drama studio, Arts Depot - Taught by Pachelle
. This class is suitable for everyone. A high energy Dancehall workout, perfect for anyone wishing to work on their stamina and fitness level. Pachelle will teach you authentic dancehall moves to develop your dance style. This class is alot of fun, sweat and swag.
URBAN LYRICAL - General to Intermediate Level
SATURDAYS 1.30pm to 2.30pm - Drama studio, Arts Depot - Taught by Eleni.
This class is suitable for people with some experience in dance (not suitable for complete beginners). The Urban Lyrical class combines Contemporary dance with Street dance with lyrical movement. Using the words and emotions of the music and the theme of the dance choreography. The classes are for young people and adults.
URBAN LYRICAL - 8 to 13 years (school year’s 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8)
SATURDAYS 2.30pm - All Level - Drama studio, Arts Depot - with Eleni
Our Urban Lyrical classes are a fusion of Urban, Hip-Hop, Jazz and Contemporary dance depending on the song choice and focus of the sessions. Students will work on their technique; contraction, release, turnout, foot alignment, turns, spins, jumps and floor work. Learning choreography, travelling sequences, creative tasks and exploring movement.
STREET DANCE - 8 to 13 years (school year’s 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8)
SATURDAYS 3.30pm - All Level - Drama studio, Arts Depot - with Eleni
All street dance styes: Locking, Popping, Breaking, Tutting, Wackin, Krumping, House, Dancehall and Commercial.
